You just reminded me of my very first car, a 1958 Hillman Husky (station wagon of sorts). I drove that thing into the ground and it kept on going, what a great car! Thanks for the memories. -Pete

This worked for me in several occasions, one on a broken tranny bolt on my land rover and the other on a sheared motor mount bolt on a cortina. Use a hardened punch to make large "dimples" at 12,3,6,

and That's funny I always liked my 2000 TC. My only recurring problem on the car was a choke cable that somehow got electrified and melted it's jacket (happened 3 times). Now Land Rovers, there is m
