As a temporary fix, go to your local auto glass shop and get a tube of urethaine windshield adhesive. This is what Bob Hoffman recommends to hold on the panels, but I don't believe it is strong enou

Use the black urethane that is used for setting and mounting windshields. It works well and is a permenant fix. Clean off the old glue, lay a bead and clamp it. George. George J. Malaska, VIN#768 V.P

Sikaflex is very permanent. BTW, I removed my door skins by carefully heating the edges with a blowtorch while prying the fiberglass away from the metal with a good paint scraper. It took time to do

Back in 1983, I used a 3M structural adhesive called 2216-BA (gray) which is an epoxy (mix parts A & B), apply and clamp for 24 hrs. Not one spot (which were mostly on the door skins) has let loose.

I think this is going to sound odd. Does anyone know which of these is "less" permanent but won't come undone on its own accord until I decide to replace the panel? 3m bonding adhesive (pn 8115 ?) 3m
