Congrats to Stacy M for what looks like fast time on one side by .001 over Tom K. Erik took the overall win but the times were all within one and a half tenths. Looks like the C5 can run with the RX-

My information is that the course was basically two dragstrips, one on the way out and one on the way back, with many cars crossing the finish in third gear. The C5 is easily the best car in SS on a

I would highly recommend discounting this event as far as typical car performance. As Gary said, it was basically a full out drag out, turn around, and drag back. There was some car control of course

Come on, lets give some credit here OK? So what if it was a drag strip? My RX-7 runs 13.4's at 105 in SS trim on street tires. Yes the Vette faster in a straight line but there had to be SOME corners

Well, how about that Viper in ASP? Does anyone know how stock it is, or is it all out street prepared? It crushed SS by 1.362 seconds. If it is close to stock, I worry about classing it in the "new"

Umm, why do you consider a Viper "exotic"? They make quite a few of them, there are tons available used, new ones list for $67K, which is getting up there but doesn't even sniff Ferrari pricing. Is
