- You can not possess a Class C CDL license if you require the use of insulin to control diabetes. A CDL licensed driver must have a physical exam done once a year. This may apply to Class A and B too

- Actually, that rule is in the process of being changed. I do not know all of the details, but the DOT announced this year that they were going to allow insulin dependant diabetics to receive a Class
