So I finally got around to having another bout with my trans for my SerII alpine. And here's why it's a bout: The front shaft of the transmission will not slide into the thrust bushing I installed in

The shaft should be the same dimension for the entire length of the bearing area. I measured one, the OD is .625, the length of the bearing area is 1.100 inches. The is a slight taper for the first

I put all the pilot bushings I sell on my lathe and make a gradual radius (chamfer) on one end, which (usually) helps/allows the input shaft to glide into the bushing the first time. That's assuming
