i think I'll just brush paint mine with black underseal greg good choice. The cars seem to have a particular love for that color and it would save you a lot of money up front and again in 5-10 years!

I use dot 5.1, does anyone know the difference between this and dot 5? It seems to work great. I assume it is not silicon as it seems to eat paint, and is not much dearer than dot 4. Greg

At last I have found some info that clarifies the brake fluid numbering system, and I thought I'd relay it to the list.. to summarize: DOT 3, DOT 4 and DOT 5.1 are all glycol (mineral?) based fluids.
