Brian--Yes, you wil need a "tool" to release the needles from the air valves. Yes, it's the one used for richness adjustment. You'll want to screw the adjustment counter-clockwise. Usually it takes n

I purchased B1AR needles from Burlen. They are adjustable and are around 15% richer at higher rpms. I also purchased B1AQs which are not adjustable but are richer than the needles in the early fixed
