Well, there's light and there's "good". I bought a fairly light Kirkey "economy" seat a while back. It was pretty light but upright circle track seat to start. It was really uncomfortable. I now have

The TR6 does not have a lot of space to mount seats. While most lightweight "sports" seats may be narrow enough at the base, they will often have "wings" at the shoulders which will be too wide (e.g.

Hello Listers: Along this line of inquiry, although I'm not a racer, Williams in his How to Restore TR6 book mentions that in his next book he will explain alternatives to the uncomfortable TR6 seats

I have seen Fiero seats installed in many LBC's as well. Personally, I don't find the TR6 seats at all uncomfortable. Granted they are no match to modern seats, but I have still driven many hours in
