My completely re-stuffed and covers TR6 seats do get a little uncomfortable
after a while. In noticed the seats in my Saab Sonett III, are much more
comfortable over the long haul. Looking at the Sonett III seats, it appears
they would fit easily in a TR6, and they are much lighter. A junkyard Sonett
III seat might be just the ticket for someone looking for comfort, and
weight reduction.

I had back aches from my 1973 TR6 seats (with adjustable head rests), I
solved this problem by glueing foam that I shaped to fit my lower back
(lumbar support). I did this while I was replacing a vinyl panel on the
seat. I have had a lot of complements on this addition, it solved my back
aches and retained the original seats.
