I am in the process of tearing down my '70 tr6 engine and am trying to remove the timing sprockets from the drive and cam shafts. The book says to remove the oil seal sleeve and the oil thrower. For

Dan--It's necessary to remove the key in the end of the crankshaft before the sprocket and the sleeve behind it will come off. Lots of WD-40 and a sturdy pair of Vise Grips usually gets the job done.
