I'm having trouble getting the oil canister to seal(river of oil under car) after I changed the oil. I've only got one rubber ring but the canister doesn't seem to be pulling in tight enough to crush

John M.--To be sure nothing got fouled along the way, I'd suggest taking the oil canister back off the engine, and examining the surface that seats against the O-ring. Also check for roundness of the

It was definitely in the groove but binding. I powder coated the canister and am wondering if it's too thick. I had to tap it with a rubber mallet to get it loose from the groove when I changed the o
