A couple questions, listers: (1)My 72 TR6 starts up with oil pressure at the midpoint of the gauge (50), but as I drive for about a half hour, it goes to 20. I burn oil, and suspect worn valve guides

Timbo--Regarding the oil pressure, 50 lb. at start-up is very low, as is the 20 lb. when the engine is cruising while warmed up. Warm temperatures and the viscosity of the oil can affect both of thes

I had the same problem after I rebuilt my engine. It turned out to be the valve rocker arm shaft. I had inspected mine and saw very little wear so I didn't change it out at the time. I believe it was
