My '72 TR6 says about 58K miles and burns oil. I just did a compression test and got readings of approximately 140, 145, 145, 137, 140, and 137 psi in cylinders 1 through 6. I then squirted in oil in

Tim-Even if the oil burning is caused by worn valve stems&guides, I think it is false economy not to replace the rings&check the bores while the head is off. Berry
