- I suggest going to a swap meet and getting the tip from a switch that does not work. It will only cost you a few bucks. I agree, that I have not seen that part in any catalogue.

- I just rebuilt my tranny. It has the bronze stuff in it. I was able to find some Gl4 which gives good lubrication and does not eat the tranny. It was costly since it out of stock in most places, but

- you can separate the head, however, it is likely to be rusted. The best way to do this is hang the engine by the eye hooks on the head, use a beam or an engine lift and take a 2x4 and wack the block
