I race with VSCDA...not a bugeye (a 1275 MIni) and no offense intended, I
really am not interested in racing one (unless offered a ride...) but anyway,
VSCDA allows 1275 bugeyes and just classes them with square bodied 1275s. I
have no problems with that solution.
VSCDA gets very large small bore turnouts and other than anonymously placed
"cheatin dog" stickers on the 1275 cars, there is no problem. As an example,
at the Blackhawk Classic in June, the Small Bore Grand Prix had over 50 1300cc
and under cars...and the group at the Grand Prix Au Grattan in Aug. was also
quite large.
I do draw the line at Toyota or Nissan gearboxes in Spridgets...
