I have a 20 year old motorcycle trailer that was getting pretty mungie,
so I had the entire unit sand blasted, took it to my local Earl Shibe
shop and had them blow on a coat of auto primer and a decent, catalyzed
red paint with a quick clear coat. Total cost for everything was under
$150. Looks great and 4 years later holding up fine.
Likely would cost a bit more today, but man it's hard to futch with, all
that sand and scrape that never gets to bare metal, brush all day and
still miss spots, when you can likely get it done for that kind of money.
AS they say at Burger Death, "have it your way" and good luck.
