Read my other note.  Two vintage races I was in had more carnage than I
suffered in 6 years of SCCA racing.

In a race at Sebring, the participants wanted the money purse removed from
the vintage race for that reason.  Ask Bob Gorby about his '66 Corvette
coupe.  he wanted no money, yet he wanted to win.  I guess totalling a car
for a $6 chunk of wood and brass is far more nobler than for a few hundred
dollar prize.
