My oldest daughter attended her first race when she was 6 weeks old...became
potty trained in the paddock...and watched Mom and dad drive race cars as a
natural course of events. Today she has a firm appreciation for racing and
she and her husband are title sponsors of a vintage race here in Indy-- the
Easley Vintage GP.
Our two younger children, coming some years later, were not exposed to racing
to a similar degree and I have regretted that absent ingredient in their
upbringing. My youngest daughter, a college junior, is interviewing for an
internship with a top IRL team, however, so the apple hasn't fallen too far
from the tree.
The race track is a good place for kids and is as suitable for girls as for
boys.

No City in the history of racing has ever hosted the four greatest events of
their kind,
as we do here with the Indianapolis 500, the US Grand Prix, the Brickyard 400
and the NHRA US Nationals.
