Well-off racers should be obliged to sign a pledge that they would devote a
painful percentage of their liquidity to racing; further, they should vow to
race the cars they own, not secret them away for acquisitive gloating like a
crook who steals a Monet and forever takes it from public view.
Make them race till it hurts, and make them get the cars out of the garage so
the rest of us can enjoy them.
