Bob Spruck asked about the Magnaflux Crack Detection kit sold by Eastwood.
The Magnaflux kit is also sold by some welding supply houses. That's where
I bought mine a few years ago. I bought it as a result of an article that
ran in European Car magazine.

I tried it on an MGB head that my (then) mechanic said was cracked. I tried
it twice. Neither time showed any cracking. I suppose I should try it on
something I know for certain is cracked.

It is relatively easy to use. But, I think I'll take my suspension and
engine pieces for electronic magnafluxing. Why take a chance?

'66 MGB (That, BTW, did NOT run in the VSCCA Pocono race as reported in
June's Victory Lane. As a matter of fact, it didn't run in the Spring
Sprints at LRP either [as reported], only in Friday's VSCCA School. I raced
an Elva Courier in the Spring Sprints on Saturday. Just being clear so no
one thinks that VSCCA has changed its 12/59 cut-off.)
