Hello All,

I'm writing to ask if anyone has, or has a possible resource who might have
the oil "slinger" used on high performance Muncie applications to divert
most of the oil from the input bearing on a Muncie transmission. This
washer/spacer looking piece is positioned right behind (if viewing from the
front of the tranny) the input bearing. A picture of this slinger can be
seen at:

I've been able to find a terribly used piece, but was hoping someone on this
list might be able to help out with something in better shape. I don't
believe that Chevy ever sold them separate, as I can only find reference to
the part being sold with various input shafts (all hipo applications).
Approaching 7K RPM's or hard braking cause 90 weight to come out the nose
cone otherwise.

On a related attempt... for those in Northern California, does anyone know
what happened to Marty Amon of Amon Racing. He used to have a shop at Sears
Point and had quite a bit of Muncie stuff. If someone has his contact info,
I'd like to give him a try.

Thanks for your time.

-Chad
