I'm helping a friend prepare a car for vintage racing and need to choose a diff ratio. The car is an Elva Courrier, with a stock (at this time) MGA engine. The car has an MGA rear axle with a 4.3 ratio. This seems way too low, but some advice from the list would help. The car will be raced at tracks in the midwest -- Blackhawk, Grattan, Gingerman, and Road America. Any good advice? -- TR6 -- 29 and still running TR4 -- 39 and still racing uncle jack -- 59+ and still_________(fill in blank) |
