Look at "How to Build and Maintain Competitive (yet legal) Formula Ford 1600
Engines" Pegasus (800) 688-6946 offers this book and their part number is
5293.

I'm new to vintage racing and I'm building up a Lotus 7 replica. I
would
appreciate any suggestions on books for the Ford Kent engine.

I've had some experience with older American made products (I own a
couple
of 57' Chevys). I'm in the process of building up a 1600 cc crows
flow Ford
(push rod) to race in a local vintage circuit.

        Thanks,
