OK --- I have a set of these 240z brakes sitting on my shelf.
I bought them at a bone yard to fit to another car and I didnt use them for fit
reasons.

Includes backing set of backing plates, aluminum drums, shoes...misc. ---used.

I paid 75$, will sell for best offer & shipping.

Rear brake drums from the 240Z (and the rest of the series up to the rear disc
brakes) are a popular conversion for Triumph 3/4/6 running in vintage racing.
The drums have the proper diameter and width and have the same bolt hole
circle as the Triumph.

A small amount of machining is required.

1. The center hole must be enlarged slightly
2. The groove around the outer circumference on the drum, where the backing
plate fits to provide a kind of dust / dirt seal, must be deepened
3. The bolt holes must be reamed out to fit the shoulder on the studs.

The biggest problem for us here in the Great Plains is finding these and
getting them off intact. The center bore fits snugly on the steel axle stub
shaft, and the old aluminum / steel electrolysis takes place, pretty
effectively locking the two parts together. Perfectly good drums are regularly
ruined getting them off, especially when hammers and big pullers are used. The
last one I took off required drilling a circle of 3/16" holes in the steel
portion and the use of other blacksmithy means.

Good luck!
