+ Lets start something - Yes LEXAN is used in MODERN race cars + but does it fit the spirit of Vintage racing? Neither are effective crash helmets, Nomex race suits, safety harnesses, roll cages, plumbed in fire extinguishers, and living past thirty... Over here in the UK, you're likely to be racing under the FIA rules, and they insist on shatter proof windscreens where possible. It might be worth checking the local regulations to see what is allowed. Graeme |
