In addition to the SCCA Street School mentioned, another "amateur"
school is run by the Southern Cal Alfa Romeo Owners Club at their
time trial events. They have these at various tracks, including
Laguna Seca and Buttonwillow.  They give plenty of track time as
well. The chalk talk was quite good too.

BTW, most of the cars entered recently were NOT Alfa Romeos, so don't
rule it out just because of the club name.
