Where do all the cars come from, good question.

Many grids of early 60s cars are now literally overwhelmed with Porsche
356s, many of which have spectacular restorations and are trucked to the
track in 18 wheelers. In the small bore ranks, Sprites and Spitfires
are still quite popular. The open wheel groups have been virtually
saved by the introduction of Formula Fords, the Juniors have almost
vanished and that leaves a small field of very fast cars at the front
and the FFs for over 50% of the field.

As a Triumph owner I wish I could report that they are comming out in
droves, but I cant. I've seen only one new car in the past year and a
couple the year before that. In fact I know of three that were racing
as recently as 2 years ago that no longer show up at the race track.

I can hardly wait to get to the Mitty and see what shows up to make an
entry reported to be well over 300 cars (estimates range as high as
400).
