Christmas on the Net
Twas the night before Christmas and all through the house,
not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.
But inside the walls the network was screaming,
delivering the presents to those who were dreaming.
Graphics and games, web browsers and software
to fix all the bugs that kill off our hair!
CU-see me and Internet phone to cut phone bills,
cable modems to deliver web sites for thrills.
And outside the house, the elves are installing
fiber optic cables while snow is still falling.
>From Boston to London, Bombay to Westchester,
Checking the specs with their "FOtestr".
Over the net, Santa broadcasts to the Earth,
A high tech greeting of peace and great mirth.
He telecommutes instead of his annual flight,
"More bandwidth to all, and to all a good night!"
