Hi all,
I'm trying to find a set of "Hands" wheels. These were magnesium, I
think, vice aluminum. They have six (I think) trapezoidal shaped holes.
They came in 13 and 14 inch by 5, 5.5, and possibly larger widths. The
bolt patterns were either 4 bolt or 5 bolt. They fit Chevys of the 60s
and 70s. They were used on racing cars of that period, particularly
Corvairs, which is what I want them for. (Early, 60-64, Corvairs used 4
bolt and late, or 65-69, used 5 bolt).
Similarly, Sterling wheels came in the same sizes as above. They were
5-spoked, dished aluminum (I think)-really too heavy except they are
period wheels and used on D Prod Yenko Stingers (Corvairs).
         Any info would be appreciated.
I'll return to the states soon.
Thanks, Chuck sadekc@hq.hqusareur.army.mil
