TR front brakes

Good Morning,

It has been suggested to me that I replace the front calipers on my TR4 
with those from a late TR6, since the late TR6 calipers use a slightly 
larger brake pad. The late TR6 caliper has a metric thread, while the 
TR4 caliper has standard (SAE?) threads. I was wondering if someone 
could advise me on the best way to adapt the metric calipers to my TR4.
