While I was not a member of the VSCCA when they decided to let in MGAs... My
understanding of the discussion was that it was an accomodation to the large
number of older MG owners to let them in.
VSCCA wants the cars participating to be rare and unusual. TR2/3s and MGAs
don't really qualify by those standards. If they allowed in both the TRs and
the MGAs at the same time, there probably would not be the heavy number of
A's there are today.
