Hi, I remember 4-5 quarts with my TR3A. I get it from Kendall in Oil City, =

I return.
After a long hibernation, I am back in the British car world. I bought a 19=
56 Morgan, that sports a TR4 motor. Hopefully, that makes me somewhat TR wo=
rthy.
I am doing some routine maintenance and need your help.
1. How many quarts of oil does a TR4 motor hold?
2. I installed the spin on filter adaptor. What is the best filter most peo=
ple use? I bought the TRF version, but it seems there is a better version a=
s I recall.
3. Is the oil weight used still 20-50, with the zinc additive from TRF?

The manual specifies 11 Imperial pints which are 20 ounces each.=C2=A0 That
equates to 6.875 US quarts.
So have 7 quarts on hand and expect to use most of it.

Regarding oil, I have been using Brad Penn 20-59 wt. but that is strictly m=

1. How many quarts of oil does a TR4 motor hold?

3. Is the oil weight used still 20-50, with the zinc additive from TRF?

Some "TR250" badges are missing from the rear fenders, some from the=20
boot lid.? Dash looks basically right.? I think it is too glossy and the=20
latch on the glove box is from a TR4 or 4A not a 250.? 250s did not have=20
the finger pull on the bottom.? Steering wheel is not a TR250 wheel -=20
original ones had the spokes covered with padded vinyl.
