Indeed.=C2=A0 When I was in college I drove an MGB.=C2=A0 (there.=C2=A0 I s=
aid it.=C2=A0 Now you know.)=C2=A0 At one point I decided to rebuild the en=
gine.=C2=A0 Now, at some point during production they changed from a long s=
kirt piston to a short skirt piston.=C2=A0 My engine had two of each.=C2=A0=
I drove it that way for quite a few years and who knows how long it had be=
en that way before I got it.
I'm sure it contributed to the roughness of the engine but it ran just the =
same.
