I've been deciding whether to fit a stronger clutch fork pin to my Triumph
than the original type.
Any recommendations USA side where I can get one.=C2=A0 I was not able to s=
ee
one on the Roadster factory. Only found across the pond Rimmers so far.

You are better off cross drilling the shaft and fork, and inserting a roll
pin or bolt in there as well as the fork pin.
If you do this, you will never have a broken fork pin ever again. There are
plenty of places on the Internet where you can
read/view this to see how it should be done. Easy peasy.

Are you talking about the pivot pin, where the fork attaches to the
bellhousing, or the slave cyl push rod pivot?
For the pivot pin, I went to the local farm store and found a grade 8 bolt
that fit very nicely.=C2=A0 It has been in there a couple years now with no
issues.=C2=A0 I can't remember the exact diameter and length I bought but t=
hey
are pretty cheap.=C2=A0 Take the pin with you and get a couple different
diameters and various lengths.

...simple home brew....? stretch out wax paper on a very flat table and=20
tape it down. Put a very small bead of silicone sealer dow nthe gasket=20
surface and lay it silicone side down on the wax paper. Let it dry. you=20
cna then repeat this on the other side.
Now when you install the gasket you have a solid gasket to keep it in=20
line and the little bead of silicone takes care of any surface=20
imperfections.
I've now reused the same pan gasket 6 times and still no leaks or need=20
to over tighten

That's what I did, using a grade 8 1/4-28 bolt and cutting off the threads
so the unthreaded shank went into the fork on both sides.=C2=A0 Also drille=
d the
hole a bit undersize, so it was a light press fit (tapped into place with
BFH).

But considering that the original taper pin lasted over 40 years, I doubt
I'll be around long enough to judge whether it's really any improvement or
not.

Don't forget to install a taper pin while drilling the fork and shaft; and
get the fork turned the right way.=C2=A0 My shaft has an extra hole for som=
e
strange reason ...

I had on of Justin?s sump gaskets.? There were a couple of challenges You c=
ould not over tighten the bolts and therefore there was a safety wire that =
had to be used to keep the bolts from backing out=20

The pan is a bit lower and the slave cylinder bracket was not quite right=
=20

But, the kit came with all the parts to install and it took care of the non=
 flat pan issues I had.?=20

much more of a chance for a warped or bent interface which will require a t=

nervous when I am repairing somebody?s tractor or whatever and I see ribbo=

the result of deformed oil pans, valve covers, tappet covers, etc. due to =
