Greetings all!
I have rebuilt the wiper motor on my TR3 and refinished the paint
on the motor mounting bracket. As you many know, the bracket has
three holes in it, into which rubber mounts are installed. The Moss
illustration of these three mounts is at
https://mossmotors.com/mounting-kit?assoc=41630
Has anyone installed this kit, replacing the old, corroded rubber
mounts? I got my old ones out easily enough but can't seem to
come up with a way to install the new ones. The diameter of the
rubber mount bushings vs. the diameter of the three holes gotta
make you wonder how they get installed..... I've even tried dunking
the rubber bushings in boiling water but no success.
Ideas? Thoughts? Thanks!!
Dave Friedlander
