I rebuild my engine after 2 or 3 years of racing.
Wear was never a problem and a good baffling of the sump seems to work fine
enough.
So I?m always happy with almost no parts in my car.
Just wheels and an engine :)

The accusump is one of the best things that you can have in the car.
A- No dry starts, an engine suffers the most normal wear during dry starts.
B- No more gulping air in left hand corners.
The arguments against them are usually due to incorrect charging or hookup,
often no check valve is fitted.
They are 100% reliable and they are rebuildable.
I use 3 quart, I prefer manual valve (yes KISS).
Just my opinion but I fit one in every car I build...

Hello Amici,
Congrats to all participants in this year's Kastner Cup. Us West Coaster's are
looking forward to the Buttonwillow event in 2019. In fact, it has been my soul
motivation to bring my Spitfire back to life after a 43 year snooze...
I have noted Accusump installations on the majority of our LBC race cars. I am
looking at installing one but don't quite understand the installation.
1, 2 or 3 quart for my 1300 cc Spitfire?
Manual or electric valve installation? The cylinder will be sitting right next
to me on the passenger side of the car.
Which side of my oil filter head supplies the oil cooler? Nearest the firewall
or nearest the radiator?
Pics and advice greatly appreciated. I only have 10 months left to get the car
ready!
