This is an Eaton switch, used to be used on Ford 2 spd rears. Home made
bracket. Takes all the guess work out of the equation. It?s a SPDT switch so it
can engage in either the up or down position.
This is pictured in Jeff Goverts car.

Also agree with mount on the shifter.

Concur. I like the switch mounted on the shifter. Early on, my GT6 had the
stock column-mounted stalk switch. That was awful, as it was too easy to hit
it accidentally while steering. V. disruptive while cornering!

For all of my 24 years of SCCA racing, I had the O/D switch mounted on my shift
lever. Very convenient, and allowed for faster shifting.

Looking for what Bosch relay I could substitute for the standard Lucas part

Also looking for advice on OD switch location for the race car. What do you
guys like to use? I was thinking a button on the steering wheel or on the
shifter must be convenient.
Appreciate the ideas.
