Hi Bill,
Photo's always help a lot. We are all learning from your experience and tha=
t what you have done, is working well. So many times when we do work like t=
his we always wish we had made it bigger, smaller, smoother, welded in a sm=
all support or some other "improvement" that we think of after it's install=
ed. The first time is rarely the last time.
I am in the process of adding a 10 x 20 storeroom on the side of our 36 ft.=
deep garage, following the same roof line as the original garage so it can=
be brought forward if needed. Every time I walk out there I wish I had mad=
e it 12 ft.wide, and if I had I would probably wish I had made it 14 ft. wi=
de.
Do we ever get it just right and perfect?
Thanks for sharing and hope you might have time for a photo.
Randall S.

The Maradyne fit well between the two dash supports without problems.
I cut a notch with a hack saw about an inch long on both sides of the =
corner so the choke cable goes through the corner of the box. If you need, =
I can post a photo. I sort of don=92t want to do it because I wish that I h=

it again and don=92t want to show everyone=85 The choke does work well eno=

Where is it you cut that notch? Did your battery box still have the
dash and cable support brackets on it or were those removed/not
present to allow for the new heater to sit flush against the heater
box?

They have two sizes of heaters. I would try to put in the bigger one (=
25,000 BTU) if possible.
Good luck!

Thanks!!
