Great feedback and thank you. Will look for some talc powder and I also =
heard about inflate/deflate to make sure there is no creases. =
I=E2=80=99m learning. In all my years with Triumphs, I haven=E2=80=99t =
had a set of wires.=20

...Regarding the powder for the tub and inside tire. Is there
a specific "tire powder" or will baby powder work fine enough?=20
=20
Some baby powder is corn starch, some is talc. Probably doesn't matter =
to the baby but I only use talc when mounting tubes.
=20
Also important (if the shop is unfamiliar with the process) is to =
inflate the tire/ tube and then deflate (I do it quickly with the valve =
core out) before inflating the final time. Less chance of a pinched =
tube.
=20
As an alternative to tubes, it is practical to seal the spokes. I use =
3M5200 and top it with metal tape.
