This raises an interesting point in my mind. "followers" is what they
should do, being in contact with the cam at all times. So it follows
(sorry) that if they are not, then damage like pictured previously is
more apt to occur. This engine was also equipped with roller rockers,
aftermarket push rods as well. I think some serious measurements are in
order...
