Option 4, enlarge the hole in the fan by 1/8"?

Options:
1 - leave as is and put the original metal fan back on, at least, it=E2=80=99=

semblance of a fan.
2 - mount the plastic fan frontwise and give up the access to the end of the=

3 - go modern and put an electric fan.
I'm guessing many on the list would choose Door Number 3. But I'd really=20=
rather have the plastic fan, if practical, because, well, its paid for.
Has anyone fitted one of these plastic fans, and if so, how did you mount=20=
it?
Thanks in advance,

Hi Cliff,
There is a hefty long bolt that connects it to the crank shaft.

I need to remove the fan hub extension (part 128318). I=E2=80=99ve taken th=
e nuts off of the 6 bolts that pass through the pulley. It seems still atta=
ched solidly. Rusted in place perhaps? Or is there something else to be do=
ne to get this piece off?

Thanks,
