Somehow it seems fitting that the country that brought us Lucas also bring us
cds that won't run on common computer platforms.

old version don't work - $80 down the tube (for 2 of
them) - and evidently
no interest in offering 'upgrade' pricing. Guess I'll
go back to the old
fashion way - the manuals or some form of bootleg

Yes that is true they were re-mastered over a year ago to DVD using new copy
-
protection.
Sadly the previous versions on CD work only on 2000 and XP using
Acrobat 6
or 7.
