I've=A0 tried everything: SNIP =A0=A0=A0Does anybody have any idea why the factory went from that straddle= d to the = non-straddled lever-clevis choke linkage with the TR3? It seems illogical. It's important not to overlook the fact that SU Carburetter was an independ= ent = OE supplier, like Lucas and Wilmot Breedon. If a car manufacturer specified= two = particular carb types, then SU would design the linkages as well. Additiona= lly, = part of the supplier contract would usually say the supplier (SU) reserved = the = right to amend or modify its design or specification at any time during the = contract and with prior notice with the client.
