The guy is Paul Rego who's very active in the BCF and 6-Pack Forums. He and
his wife are the original owners of the TR6 and just recently added a TR8 to
the stable. Paul's site is a wealth of information that is extremely well
documented. Spend some time on his site and you'll learn a bunch of stuff.

Subject: Re: [TR] Scuttle vent drain tubes.
Hi List,
It took me awhile to find this website again but there is a really nice
application of a Ford Mustang "quarter panel plug" that a guy used when
restoring his TR6 to vent the scuttle out the front of the metal baffle that
goes between the outer fender and the inner fender. I have seen other
attempts at routing that little rubber hose thru a hole cut into the sill
but this is really slick and not that expensive. If you go to the link below
and scroll down a little past halfway, you will see a picture of the Mustang
part in the package and the next picture shows the drain plugs installed.
Very slick..

There is a lot of other nice improvements detailed on this website but I
thought I would pass along this nice scuttle vent idea.
