Cosmo,
Here are pictures of the schematic and circuit board. Pretty simple. The
characteristics of the capacitor on the output are somwhat critical.

Trev,
The electronic device that Moss sells is OK. It regulates adequately
and is cheap. The version I had used NO protection. A malfunctioning set of HT
ignition wires caused what must have been severe spikes in the electrical
system that destroyed my stabilizer. I am not sure what voltage it stabilized
to, but I don't think it is precisely 10v. I think it regulates to about
10.5v, but mine died before I thought to check it out. I didn't know it was
electronic until I opened it up after it died.
I designed a different one using an automotive grade 10v regulator,
and some extra spike protection. I have been using it for a year and it has
been working perfectly. I even made a little printed circuit board so it fits
inside the case of the dead one!
I can tell you more if you want.

Hi Tony!
I would like you to send me that 'little printed circuit board'
diagram & tell me MORE.
I decided to replace my current Voltage Stabilizer (VS) (Which is
working) with one of Moss's VS, (thinking that it's 43 yr. old may not be that
accurate). It worked great until I blew one of the two fuses that runs the
car. I then received another one to replace the one that I had received from
Moss/USA, because it was then reading down 1/4 of what it should read. I
installed it but it seems that I'm not getting an accurate reading (I think?).
Ex.- I fill the gas tank to the top of the tank (fuel is in part of the filler
cap rubber hose exertion), & it reads the thickness of the needle below full).
This is why I'm so interested in your thread.
