I've usually measured my battery dimensions and then set off for the nearest
farm store and bought
the closest size I could to the one I was about to throw out. Tractor batteries
usually have a lot
more amps for their size and this is quite handy for cranking reluctant Triumph
engines (RTE)
RTE's and small diesels have quite a lot in common in terms of wanting
dependable cranking power :)
