I've lost track ... did someone already suggest picking up a used gauge ?
Good working TR3 fuel gauges typically sell for $15-$25 on eBay; while you
are probably looking at $100 or more for someone to restore yours. That's
fine if you are building a show car; but maybe not so fine if you are just
doing a 'driver'.
BTW, I've also heard good things about North Hollywood Speedometer and Clock
Co; but have no personal experience with them.
