Better: buy a new one from Dave Bean Engineering.

The cast alloy master cylinders are very difficult to hone
to a suitable finish at home. By my calculations, the hassle
involved in removing it again when it leaks after installation
is more than enough to justify buying new.

Cast iron master cylinders are worth rebuilding because you
have a high probability of getting it right the first time.

If you need something resleeved, because it's made of
unobtanium or has been rebuilt too many times, send it to Sierra Specialties.

Best,
chris
