Bought a nice TR6 a couple of years ago. PO said it had been running just 
fine. It just quit on him, so he had it towed home and let it sit. Tried to 
start 
it a couple of times. Then just decided to sell the car. I bought it at a 
good price. Took it home, no spark. Changed points and it ran like a new car. 
Points are cheap and easy to change.
