I've attempted to use Caswell kits to save money on the smaller stuff, but
found it to be a waste. The chemicals are very toxic, the process and
step-up quite involved, and the result only as good as the time spent
preparing. You MUST prior to plating produce a mirror-like surface polish in
order to yield professional results.
At the end of the day, you may get there, but a pro-shop is the way to go.
No hazmat issues, supplies, time or space, with professional real triple
plate results, usually guaranteed.
